D-Fuse have been invited to Rio de Janeiro by the Multiplicidade Festival and the British Council to perform our new live cinema piece Tektōn at Oi Futuro. The event also features an exhibition of the D-Fuse pieces Brief Encounters/By the Meter, Topographies: Rio de Janeiro (in progress), and Pathways: King's Cross. In the days leading up to the exhibition, D-Fuse will collect new material for Brief Encounters/By the Meter and start working on Storylines: Rio de Janeiro.

Material Studies PERFORMANCE
Material Studies Live Audiovisual Mix


The Material Studies group will be creating a live mix from audio and visual materials collected during our anarchic Material Studies improvisation workshops that were held at Sound//Space, SoundFjord's pop-up record store and community hub at V22 Summer Club in London. The performance is part of a Sprawl night at Cafe Oto also featuring Jasmina Maschina and Adam Bohman. More info and tickets here.

Stuart Crundwell: Brutal


D-Fuse are presenting the programme a/vant-garde, a series of live audiovisual performances at Kings Place in London this autumn. The second evening features the D-Fuse performance Particle with special guest Mark Beazley from the band Rothko on bass, as well as a live show of D-Fuse founding member Stuart Crundwell's piece Brutal. The evening will start with a screening of the D-Fuse film Brilliant City.

Material Studies WORKSHOP
Material Studies


The Material Studies workshop involves playful exploration of the sounds within matter through improvisation with everyday objects. The project is being developed with Blanca Regina and Andrew Riley. The next workshop will take place at SoundFjord in London, with the material paper and special guest Daichi Yoshikawa.
