Wishful Images / Voices in a Field


The screening programme Wishful Images, curated by Jill Daniels, Matthias Kispert and Inga Burrows, will be shown at 51zero Festival at the University for the Creative Arts in Canterbury, UK, from 8–17 November. Wishful images presents films that envisage, address and/or document ways of being and acting together. The films propose collective ways out of the present moment, that is marked by politics of hate, increasing precarity, social inequalities, and looming climate catastrophe. The programme features work by Oliver Ressler, Steven Wardell, Johannes Gierlinger, Tanaya Vyas, Thomas Kneubühler, Mario Hamad, Felice Hapetzeder, Jill Daniels, Silvia Amancei, Bogdan Armanu, Manuela Johanna Covini, Treasa O’Brien, Maite Abella, Matthias Kispert, Carolyn Lambert, Inga Burrows.

Between Here and Then SCREENING
No More Beyond


My video essay No More Beyond will be screened at the Centre for Research and Education in Arts and Media (CREAM) at University of Westminster, as part of a screening programme which coincides with the exhibition Between Here and Then, organised by and showing the work of a group of current PhD candidates and alumni at CREAM. The evening also features a screening of Côme Lédesert's documentary short Persisting Dreams.

Workers leaving the cloud factory


My video Workers leaving the cloud factory will be shown at the exhibition Between Here and Then at London Gallery West and The Project Space at the Harrow campus of University of Westminster, London. The exhibition is organised by and shows the work of a group of current PhD candidates and alumni at the Centre for Research and Education in Arts and Media (CREAM) at University of Westminster. The private view is on 21 Jun 5 – 10pm, and the exhibition will be open daily from 11am – 7pm.

STRIKE! SCREENING
No More Beyond


My video essay No More Beyond will be screened at The White Building in London at an event called Violent borders: mass deportations, migration and detention, organised by STRIKE! Magazine. The evening will also include films by STRIKE! Magazine and Standoff Films, and a panel discussion including people who have been forcibly deported, an immigration lawyer, a campaigner who physically blocked a mass deportation and members of groups challenging mass deportations and amplifying the voices of people in detention.
